Head Physiotherapist & Co-Owner @ PT Lab
Kevin Parfrey is a physiotherapist, a former athlete & father of three. Kevin grew up playing sport every waking moment. He played in the OHL for Hockey with the Barrie Colts and for Team Canada in Rugby. He has worked with Hockey Nova Scotia, Rock Rugby, Rugby Canada and the St. John’s Edge.
Currently Kevin is the lead physiotherapist for the Men's MUN Rugby Seahawks, the U19 Atlantic ROCK Rugby National Champions, the U17 & U15 ROCK Rugby programs for NL.
His interest is in healing the athletic population & enjoys treating patients who are enthusiastic on being proactive seeking therapy and dealing with chronic issues head on. In his spare time Kevin likes to spend time with his family, stay current with sports medicine research & resistance train.

Head of Strength & Conditioning @ PT Lab
Phil started "Core Fitness" in late 2006. Eventually moved locations in 2010, employing several massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other personal trainers and class instructors to run a full gamut of services: TRX suspension training, various forms of yoga, Pilates, group circuit training classes, etc.
Has worked with Memorial University Basketball, Basketball NL, and Baseball NL to teach Nutrition fundamentals to teams/athlete's.
Has been working as a personal trainer 20+ years.
He joined a men's senior rugby team in year 2000 and played straight to 2014/15 (3 national championships with rock team, countless tours overseas playing top level rugby within reason, also playing for 2 years in Victoria with Castaway Wanderers RFC 2003-05, with a brief stint in California with Riverside RFC.

Nutrition Expert @ PT Lab
Morgan completed a bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Acadia. While completing her studies she obtained great mentorship from various registered dietitians, some who worked in the NHL and some who focused on clinical nutrition to expand and strengthen her overall nutrition knowledge. She was the president of the nutrition and dietetics society on her campus which gave her a platform to utilize and share her nutrition and leadership skills.
Once she graduated she moved to Miami to further her sports nutrition experience by completing a sports nutrition internship with the football team at the University of Miami. This experience has provided first-hand sports nutrition experience in a accelerated environment. She also obtained clinical nutrition experience from a previous job as a dietary aid in a long-term care facility.
In addition to her bachelor's degree she has a certificate in eating disorder care from the Change Creates Change program. She is eager to share her passion for sports and nutrition and help grow the sports nutrition culture in Newfoundland

Physiotherapist @ PT Lab
Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Blaise obtained his Masters of Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018. Blaise has been playing soccer for over 20 years, climbing for 6 years, and more recently has enjoyed trail running, highlighted by completing the East Coast Trail 50km ultramarathon in 2023.
Blaise has completed Dr. Jared Vagy’s Climbing physiotherapy hybrid course, which offered detailed insight into shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand injuries.
Blaise’s clinical practice is influenced by his experiences in sports and performance, which have offered personal and professional insight into assessing, treating, andovercoming an array of traumatic, chronic, and overuse injuries.
Whether his clients are avid walkers, competitive athletes, casual runners, or anywhere in-between, Blaise takes pride in providing a thorough biomechanical assessment. This form of assessment guides a treatment plan that is designed to help his clients move better, feel better, and feel more empowered as they recover from injury. To help with pain and engaging with activity, Blaise uses specific tailored exercises, a variety of manual techniques, dry needling, and education to help clients understand their body and their injury.
